National Day

National day is a very special day and it's very important for us Omani people. We celebrate it because it is the day when Oman started to be ruled by our great majesty that has all of our respects. National day is on november 18th and we celebrate it every year.
Before the celebration people decorate the streets with colourful lights, with flags and with pictures of our majesty. They also decorate schools and colleges with baloons and many flags.
During the celebration people feel very happy. They wear any thing red to represent our country Oman. They even wear flags. On that day students celebrate it for the whole time we are in school or college, this mens no studying.
There is another good thing about this special event, which is that we get holiday three or two days. I feel very happy and glad to see all of the people in Oman celebrate this day and give attention to this day.
